When you receive a 3D scan, our dentist and team will pass a small wand over the inside of your mouth. As the wand passes over your teeth, the images are captured, processed and transmitted almost instantly to a nearby monitor. This gives us an immediate, complete and highly accurate image of your teeth and mouth. Photos are saved automatically, preventing the need for a second scan, and the scan itself can be stopped and started as needed to ensure your comfort during the imaging process.
Once processed, you can view the images of your teeth and mouth alongside our dentist and team. This allows you to see and understand exactly what is happening in your mouth, as well as how your recommended treatments will work to improve your smile and oral health.
